Ruishenbao Cryogenic Mill Successfully Passed IGGE’s Verification

On June 11, 2019, experts from the Institute of Geophysical and Geochemical Exploration of the Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences(IGGE) and our installation engineer checked  Ruishenbao Cryogenic mill with closed liquid nitrogen auto-fill system LPM-01 (Cryogenic mill for short). After careful tests, the participating experts agreed that the equipment can work stably, and the technical parameters meet the requirements. It is because the excellent performance  satisfies the needs of the work that the equipment successfully accepted by IGGE.

IGGE, directly subordinated to the China Geological Survey, has various advanced physical and chemical exploration methods and technologies which contribute to undertaking scientific research about physical exploration and geological investigation on water(sea), land and air. Many works can be carried out, including resources and energy exploration, hydro-environmental and engineering geological exploration, geothermal resource exploration, geochemical standard material research and sample analysis. And new methods, new technologies, new instruments and equipment related to the above may be developed and applied. Some plant samples are large in number, difficult to handle, easy to become jello at room temperature, which makes crushing extremely difficult. The existing low-temperature grinding equipment has small volume (usually a few grams, or even smaller), which seriously affects the inspection work.

Ruishenbao cryogenic mill takes advantages of high-strength centrifugal hammer impact to generate friction force and shear force for high efficiency, high volume(2.1L in Max.) During the process, the sample keeps at -196℃, this is because of the continuous auto-fill nitrogen and the cold management of the vacuum layer of the pipelines, which make it possible to grind things that can not be ground at room temperature, such as heat-sensitive samples, plant samples, plastic products, textiles, high-oil, high-fat and high-sugar samples. It has been gradually applied in quarantine, mine, animal and plant research and ushers in broad application prospects.
